The Role
Interesting variety of projects you. A lot of flexibility. Great variety of work,
Some extent. Depending really on the managers.
Not much. Your work is very independent of anyone and anything. You have your responsibilities and it's your duty to contact the right people, chase them to take some time and help you, and deliver.
Very... Can't remember too many days when I was out of the office before 7pm. They also don't pay for extra time.
A lot of responsibility. A lot of pressure is put on you.
Microsoft Office skills develop tremendously. Nobody can beat me at creating a "deck" now. Aligning boxes in PowerPoint and writing excel formulas becomes second nature. Not sure how much client interface you'll have. Again, depends on the project you are rolled on.
The Company
Like a crowded train station, where you don't speak to anyone and you're not sure if you'll manage to get on the train. As they are a consultancy, many teams are frequently on the client site. The ones remaining in the office don't speak to each other. The company has this hot desks booking process, but there are hardly enough hot desks. You have to book one way in advance, otherwise you are likely to have nowhere to work that day.
6 months = 2x3 month projects. There is little oversight from the HR team (as expected), and your placement is in the hands of your projects' team (mainly your manager). That being said, it's quite an enjoyable ride.
A week at the start on really basic/ general skills. Other Online training afterwards for compliance
Quite
The Culture
Depends very much on your team, as with most of these questions.
I lived in London. Everything is super overpriced. Go to Eastern Europe, I've heard it's amazing,
Great
Many opportunities, sure, but little time. There are many clubs that have company given budgets
