    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I was given real responsibilities and was able to see the impact of my work. Furthermore, I was not held as an intern and felt like a full time employee.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I have received feedback from my supervisors every 3 - 4 months showing what has been done well and what needs to be improved. It was great that they have invested time in my professional growth in many different aspects. For example, take me to meet clients, explain the difficulties of sales etc..

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • During the placement scheme I had two managers. My PDM - Professional Development Manager and my Task Manager. Anytime I need support or guidance I was always able to contact my supervisors and I always did get support that was needed.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • My task manager has managed to give me perfect work load. I had just the right amount of work, keeping myself busy throughout the day and also having spare time for exploring IBM, shadowing, getting involved in various projects.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Tasks that I did during my placement were reported straight up the line, therefore I could see how important the work was. I was also given possibility to shadow executive meetings in which my work was presented by my supervisors.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The experience I have received throughout this year will help me throughout the last year in university and beyond. As I know take my tasks in a lot more serious way, have better discipline and attention to details. And that is the key to success.

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Working in 10 people team was a great experience. I have got to closely know all of the team members. I would help them when it is needed and they would help me whenever I would require help.. Finally, team socials were great as we had a lot of fun going out!

    5/5
