  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • I really enjoyed the insight it was engaging and very interesting.

    • I felt extremely valued during my time at the company. They were open and very encouraging in terms of getting everyone involved during the day.

    • I received several guidance and support, where I was unclear if something support was provided from FCA staff.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • Being someone who studies banking, finance and management gaining more in depth information on the FCA a regulatory organisation was very useful as regulation of banks is something we look at in my course.

    • Very well structured.

    • The atmosphere was very positive and engaging. A great working environment and very friendly.

    • They invested a lot in me e.g. The leadership session, skills for growth session, interview skills session and presentation session.

    • It helped me a lot as we heard from current employees at the firm and done work shadowing.

    • It helped me a lot. A real feel of the organisation was provided, particularly when a talk was given from the chairman and other senior staff.

    • It was very valuable as I learnt about a range of sectors and the day to day activities for these sectors and roles.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • I was reimbursed my transport expenses which was very nice of them.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Yes during the lunch and learn session and when shadowing.

    • They were very good. I got to speak to a range of staff and hear from their own personal experiences.

    • Yes, I found out about their community programmes and secondments.

    • Definitely, the programme was a great opportunity and a great way to spend the week.
