  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • A very enjoyable day. Well worth attending and I left feeling very positive about the FCA and the people who work there.

    • I felt valued much more than I had expected to and wished I could have started work there the next day.

    • Plenty of guidance and support was provided throughout the day. The activities were very interesting and the comments very supportive and encouraging. We learned a lot.

    • The things I learned and the information I received has left me feeling so positive about the FCA that I am determined to pursue career opportunities with this firm.

    • The insight was very well structured, with staff from various areas providing information about their experiences with company.

    • The atmosphere was very positive and encouraging at all times.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • This was an insight day and the company discussed training options available for employees which included, amongst other things, the opportunity to study towards an MSc. The FCA have a very positive approach to continuous learning opportunities for staff.

    • I felt that I gained a good understanding of what it would be like to work full-time for the FCA.

    • The culture seems very positive, encouraging and inclusive. All of the employees I heard and spoke to confirmed this.

    • Extremely valuable. This is a company I would like to work for. Without a doubt.

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • The FCA provided lunch, coffee, water, etc., so the only expense was travel and the experience was well worth the train fare.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Yes, at various times throughout the day. I was able to talk to employees, including former graduates from various departments.

    • More than expected for a one-day event.

    • Yes. The work-life balance at the FCA was described as excellent, one of the best in the financial services industry.
