The Role
I had a fantastic time on my placement, learning a lot and essentially confirming what it is I want to do for a career after university.
My colleagues were fantastic, I was taken out for lunch when I first arrived, had a good relationship throughout and even played squash during lunch hours with them.
My managers took time out to answer questions and help me through problems, which given how busy they must've been was something I really appreciated.
I was never bored due to a lack of work, yet at the same time I was never given so much to get panicked about. Considering it was my first experience of '9-5 work' I felt the workload was just right.
As much as can be expected of someone during a 7 week placement!
I have felt that the experience has definitely helped in several courses I've began this year, giving me a head start almost on some of my classmates.
The Company
The atmosphere always seemed relatively positive, with people happy to talk to you etc.
Very well organised, from the moment I arrived I had a supervisor, IT account subscribed to everything I needed, and even a personal phome number.
I felt like the tasks I was given gradually increased in difficulty, and help on how to complete them was provided along every step of the way.

I cannot wait to potentially work for them again in the future.
The Culture
As I was the only one in my department it's hard to say, though I did meet and get long with several other placement students when I had the chance.
I didn't live in the area I worked in - commuted in every day.
See above.
I feel like had I been there longer then definitely.
