  • A lot of responsibility and power to implement suggested projects. Expectancy to drive given project forward and make decision (with due consultation).

  • A lot of work, a backlog of tasks even. Reasonable completeness pressure.

  • Something is always going on, had to make wise decision to get involved in the most interesting activities and get the job done outstandingly.

  • A lot of guidance from team leader, HR and management. Many opportunities to provide feedback.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Had events organised for interns only, including social outings and various expo. Also got to take part in the company's volunteering by planting poppies in the Tower of London

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • London is not so cheap, but I live 20 minutes walking from work and have a lot of places to go in central and east London.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • not only nightlife, but also morning life - went to MorningGloryVile, the morning rave. Was awesome to pump the jam before work.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • sports team of many disciplines, bouldering for me. Volunteering activities (planting poppies in the Tower of London, #IceBucketChallenge) and a fantastic summer picnic
