The Role
I very much enjoyed my internship within the university
Didn't work with many people, but those I did work with seemed to appreciate my work.
Lots of support was given by my supervisor, guidance and instruction.
Busy enough not to be bored, but definitely not overworked.
I wasn't in a position were I needed to be responsible.
The skills received will be a huge help when looking for further study and work after my degree.
The Company
Mainly working on my own, which I prefer.
Very well organised, all the paperwork for payment was easy to set up.
Assistance was given when needed, which helps with my own development using certain software programs.
Perhaps staying on to do a PhD, is quite appealing now.
The Culture
Yes it was nice to see other students from my course during the summer.
I lived at home, so cheap. Socialising isn't very expensive in Manchester.
Plentiful and cheap.
Not really that were running in conjunction with the internship.
