The Role
Was very lucky to have a great role with varied tasks on a daily basis.
A really welcoming social atmosphere. Work submitted was highly praised or subject to constructive criticism.
Any questions were welcome and many people within have acted as mentors to guide me where required.
Some days I found myself incredibly busy, and others not so but this was rectifiable by simply asking for more work.
One of the tasks I was given involved compiling division-wide spreadsheets sent to the heads of departments on a weekly basis, and multiple presentations within meetings.
Fantastic organisational skills aquired, as well as developed confidence within a working atmosphere.
The Company
Those I worked with had a perfect balance of jovial conversation and head down working.
On boarding was simple and I was able to settle in very quickly, the weekly learning lunches were also highly successful.
Within the organisation many people were able to spend time with me in order to teach me the knowledge to complete my job in a successful manner.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
After the internship if I have performed to a god standard I will be offered a place on next years graduate scheme (which I am likely to take).
The Culture
The social aspect has been my personal highlight of the internship, as it was easy to build up a rapport with the other interns.
It's Canary Wharf.
It's London, there's never a lack of things to do.
Many work based social events as well as unofficial events organised within the group of interns have occured throughout.
