  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • It was an amazing experience and really gave a great insight into what life at a commercial law firm would really be like.

    • Everyone was really, genuinely friendly and gave gratitude for the work I submitted, even though I was just a vacation scheme student. It made me feel like they really appreciated the work I had done!

    • My trainee buddy was exceptionally supportive. I really think she went above and beyond in being available if I needed any help. The others in the team were also really supportive and gave great advice whenever I had any questions.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • The skills I've developed will definitely stay with me and be applicable to any future firm I may apply to.

    • Everything was really clear from the first day and our timetable was never really deviated from.

    • All the people I had met or worked with were extremely positive and friendly!

    • I felt like they really invested in me considering that the work I did was real work, not 'busy work'. What I submitted was eventually put into a final form and sent off to clients or presented.

    • It really gives you a full picture of what it would be like to be with the firm full time.

    • There are many opportunities that were put in the timetable, as well as external opportunities from your trainee to meet many people throughout the firm.

    • They were great, informal settings for you to really know and network others.

    • Vacation schemers were included in events that were happening outside of work.
