  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Really good experience. Was able to speak to all members of the firms and was able to see real client work first hand, including confidential information.

    • Was given plent of tasks to do, some of which were incorporated into court documents or documents submitted to clients.

    • Felt assured that any issue/concern I need help with or required further clarification, there was someone I could turn to.

    • Helped me with time management, communication, research and presentation skills. I'm certain this will be of use in my remaining studies.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Practice group presentations everymorning gave a useful insight into the firm. Rest of the day spent in the department.

    • All were welcoming and friendly.

    • Was able to develop the aforementioned skills during the work I was given and subsequent feedback.

    • Was able to experience trainee tasks firsthand. Also given plenty of opportunities to interact with members of the firm and get their opinions.

    • Was recruited into the firm cricket and softball team. There was a presentation on CSR initiatives as well.
