The Role
Enjoyable experience all round
The employees at Agilent are all really friendly and you are treated like an equal employee rather than an intern
Meetings are set up for support and guidance through-out the year
I was fairly busy, some weeks could be very hectic whilst some could be less busy depending on what was happening each week.
You are given a lot of responsibility at Agilent such as organising events
I learnt a variety of skills that will all assist me in my degree
The Company
Generally a fairly quiet office however there were great people to talk to and social events did take place fairly regularly
The placement was well organised, with a good handover from the previous intern
Training workshops were set up for interns to develop their communication skills, these were very helpful however this would have been better if they took place at the beginning of the placement

Overall Agilent is an appealing place to work, however I wouldn't chose the industry as a future career path
The Culture
Yes, there were other students working in the office and social events were organised
I would say fairly average as it is cheaper than london
Large town with a good variety of restaurants, bars and clubs
Agilent organised regular events outside of work
