  • Plenty to do but always time for a laugh

  • Some days I was very busy others it was a good balance, but I was never bored

  • Lots of responsibility given from particpating in large projects to running smaller ones

  • I had compulsory training to complete and was offered lots of additional training if I wanted it

  • Vauxhall does not really have a graduate programme

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Vauxhall take on lots of undergrads so something is always happening

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Living was quite cheap in certain places more expensive in others. Socialising was as cheap or as expensive as you wanted to make it

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Luton doesnt have the best nightlife however you are very close to St Albans and Harpenden which are good. London is also just a train ride away which is very convenient

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Plenty of opportunities offered including competitions in which you can win all sorts of things including Wembley tickets to watch England.
