  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Very good insight into the industry and learnt a lot of new skills.

  • Good chemistry with a close knit team.

  • Line Manager was always checking on me to make sure I was happy.

  • Varied throughout the year but busy more often than not which makes for an enjoyable challenge.

  • Increased throughout the year until I became a key component in the team.

  • Non-degree skills improved a lot but the placement drew on very little from my course.

  • Was in a smaller office so fun when everyone was in but noticed when people were on leave.

  • Took a while at the beginning to sort inductions etc.

  • Sent on several safety training courses over the course of the year.

  • Definitely appealing, the graduate scheme offers international placements.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Lots of fellow placement people who were good fun but all events were organised by ourselves.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Town centre is expensive but gets a lot cheaper if you go a little further out.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Depends where you go in Nottingham can be very cheap or there are expensive cocktail bars. Good cheap clubs.

  • Only got told about Badminton where only 3-4 others attended.
