  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Overall I did enjoy it because it was a nice place to work for with great genuine people

  • My colleagues were amazing, even though it was unpaid experience they still bought us food and drinks and have us a discount without us asking for those privileges

  • Whenever I was given a task they would train me and supervise me to ensure that i know the task fully

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I was really busy, which for me isn't really great because I like to have a perfect balance. It felt like the chores were never ending

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I would say half and half because I was trusted enough to man the sore when there was nobody around but I was given the 'major' jobs such as running the till

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I don't think I have gained many skills from working at a retail sector, to be honest it's skills that one uses regularly at home. But I did learn a few things about the way the store functions

  • There really wasn't much to it, it was straightforward

  • There was new people to meet everyday, had old friends working with me too, full of surprises

  • It's really quiet and simple town
