  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Extremely fun, interesting and varied vac scheme. Each day I learnt something new or met new people in the firm.

    • I was given a plenty of responsibility and enjoyed attending meetings with my supervisor.

    • My buddy and supervisor did a great job keeping me busy and including me in whatever they were working on.

    • Felt I gained invaluable knowledge about the industry I was working in having had limited experience before the vac scheme.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Departmental presentation and other activities were nicely spread throughout the week, as were the socials.

    • Very good- exceptionally friendly department and we had lots of interaction with the current trainees.

    • I thought the departmental presentations were a particularly good way of showcasing the firm's range of expertise.

    • Extremely so- I felt at ease straight away and my buddy was always happy to include me with what she was working on.

    • We had a lot of interaction with the trainees and the socials were also really good fun.

    • We were given a very interesting talk about CSR opportunities and I was lucky enough to join some trainees at the Islington Law Centre to help out.
