    Business Insight

  • 3. What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
  • Great! Everyone was super keen to offer their guidance as to what different roles and seats at the firm look like, and really gave us an idea of what life at the firm would be like. The early talent team also provided insight and answered our many questions pertaining to training and working at CMS.

    Culture

  • 4. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • The culture was excellent - it disproved many pre-conceptions I held as to what working in a law firm would be like. The trainees wanted to help as much as possible, despite being busy themselves. Supervisors were more distant which is understandable since they had more work to do. There were partners who made little effort to get to know the students and others which came off as cold, however this varied across departments and was in the far minority. Overall, everyone on the scheme found the culture to be as advertised.
