The Role
I enjoyed the responsibility I had, and the new opportunities I was able to experience
I felt I was given positive feedback when I had done a good job, and felt free to ask questions whenever I was stuck
Manager was very supportive, and we had weekly meetings where I felt I could bring up anything that was causing me trouble
I went through waves of being really busy and the quiet, which meant I had time to catch up before I was busy again. If I ever wanted more work, I was encouraged to speak out
I was given as much work as I felt capable of doing, if I was ever quiet with work I was always welcomed to ask for more
Learnt a huge amount about working in Marketing, and what it is like to work in a large organisation
The Company
Quite fast paced, and people were very busy....but also felt like I could ask for help whenever I needed to.
Very well organized
Lots of courses, excel training I found particularly useful
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
They only take on a small amount of graduates
The Culture
As there are so many undergraduates, there is a great social scene
Luton is very cheap for going out and eating, rent is also very cheap (£250 a month)
Luton itself is not great, but not too far away from nice areas such as London and St Albans
A few sporting/charity things to get involved with
