  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Due to the nature of the work and my age at the time, i was unable to do anything to help the service users and therefore spent most time reading magazines.

    • I felt as if they had taken me on because they had to and not because they needed to.

    • Gained a tiny bit of feedback but not much as there wasnt much to feedback on.

    • I decided to change the sector in which i wanted to do.

    • Same routine every week, however, got boring after a couple of weeks.

    • Service users were great!

    • They didnt really give any training or extra help.

    • I got to see what the care assistants did day in and day out, however i wasnt allowed to do the same jobs.

    • I had a tour at the beginning which told me about the culture of the company.

    • It made me realise that i didnt want to continue on this secter and opted to change course.
