The Role
Working for Tourdust was the best job i have had so far. I really enjoyed working there and it was a pleasure to carry on even when my placement was finished as i learnt so much and got to work with some amazing people.
I was made to feel like a valued part of the team from both the praise for the work i did and the responsibilty that i was given. I also enjoyed the atmosphere in the office as it was enjoyable and had a laid back feel. I will deffinetly keep in touch now i have finished as they were a pleasure to work with.
With every task i was given i recieved all the help and guidance i needed all i had to do was ask and someone would be willing to take time out and help. I also was grateful for the help and guidance i was given for stuff relating to my course and future jobs which was invaluable.
There was always something to be getting on with on a day to day basis and once i had finished a task or brief i was given something new to do which kept the role fresh and interesting and was usually tailored to be a benefit to me and not just the company.
I was given plenty of responsibilty in my role on a variety of tasks, such as being the liason between Tourdust and angencies while looking into creating a new game and quiz. I gained more responsibilty as my experience grew and was given opportunities to publish blogs onto the site.
The skills i learnt at Tourdust will benefit me in my future career that could not be gained from soley studying at university. Being an online company the role went hand in hand with my digital degree and enhanced what was i being taught in lecture by having pratical experience.
The Company
The atmosphere in the office was always good. We would each get to pick what music was played and there was always conversations about what people had been upto. Tourdust was a really fun place to work where you actually enjoyed turning up to.
The internship was really well organised from the intial interview to starting my first day i never had a problem. Another benefit was being given tasks that would benefit botm myself and Tourdust.
There was always plenty of new stuff to learn that will be an advantage going into my chosen career. They were always offering me advice on what i could do and how to go about it aswell as giving me tips on any areas i could improve on.

The Culture
As i was fortunate to work with someone else from my course the social scene was good we got to go out for drinks, meals and had a christmas party.
Was not really much of a nightlife in Tring itself as it is a relatively small town but had a varitey of nice bars and pubs scattered around the area.
