The Role
I enjoyed the atmosphere and the work I was given.
Got on well with colleagues, there were lots of young people including other students and recent graduates.
My immediate line manager was very laid back, but several senior colleagues were very helpful and offered a lot of guidance.
Varied considerably from week to week - sometimes I had a lot of work on, but when I didn't there was always someone to ask who would try to find me something to o.
Was pleased to be given more responsibility than I would have expected for a three month internship.
Learnt some general and transferable skills, but a lot of it was quite job specific.
The Company
Young colleagues meant it was generally quite a fun atmosphere.
A few issues initially with IT etc, but generally very well organised.
Didn't receive a lot in the way of formal training.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Above 25 days holiday
Applying for university sponsorship, future summer placement and potentially a graduate position.
The Culture
There was a good social scene for those who were all living in the same part of town, although I was living further away and so wasn't always able to get so involved.
Pretty good because I stayed in my university accommodation.
About average.
Some sports and social clubs etc.
