    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • After each day at Bloomberg I had a very positive feeling about both the company and what we have done so far. The Bootcamp was not only an amazing opportunity to see the company from the inside, but was also time spent with bright individuals which I enjoyed a lot.

    • the friendly atmosphere and flat hierarchy helped me feel at ease at Bloomberg

    • All Bloomberg professionals we met helped us with all types of questions which appeared during the Bootcamp

    • Especially the developed skills on using the terminal help me a lot in my studies.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • The programme was very intensive and covered a lot of topics. I would have preferred to work a bit more on the terminal, though.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?

    • Both the Bloomberg professionals and the other Bootcamp participants were very friendly, easy-going and bright. That created a perfect working atmosphere.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?

    • The talks with the full-time employees gave me an idea of what the normal working day looks like in the different departments. However, since the week included only lectures and training, I could not experience it myself. I believe that a longer internship at the company, though, will help me understand what it is really like to work full time at Bloomberg LP.

    • On basis of the networking events and talks with the employees I could see and experience the Bloomberg culture. And it is the culture which impressed me the most during my experience at the Bootcamp.

    • Everybody was very open and eager to answer any questions during the social events. These were rather informal which

    • We were given presentations on the opportunities outside the office, f.ex. volunteering and visiting art exhibitions with the colleagues

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?

    • The Bootcamp is a very good opportunity for people interested in a career in finance to see how the main financial news and analytics company operates. The programme is hectic and interesting
