The Role
It is the right job for me.
There is a great atmosphere and respect amongst everyone, as well as ample amount of humour alongside the professionalism.
The guidance and training is amazing. I worked under two managers who were very patient and happy to guide me through all the steps of the projects. MediaCom invests a lot in their employees and senior management were readily available. In fact my desk was places in between two Associates who were extremely friendly and humerus.
Some days more busy than others.
I worked on the preliminary steps of 2 projects giving me a good scope of what sort of work is done.
It gave me amazing insight on the industry I wouldn't have gained at all doing the research on it.
The Company
There was always humour/
I was assigned a team and a supervisor for each project and would refer to them for questions. They would assign me tasks and review it with me to make sure everything went smoothly. Otherwise, I was constantly contacted via email about trainings occurring within the building.
The training is absolutely phenomenal. In 10 weeks I attended more training sessions than I would have in 2 years elsewhere. There is always people doing some sort of insight whether it be about what other departments do or external training. All interns were taken to Google, Facebook and Twitter for advertising training which was great experience in itself.
Company Parties/Events
I would be granted an interview for a graduate position. I also received excellent feedback and recommendations for hire upon graduating.
The Culture
There were quite a few interns and we all went for lunch and after work drinks.
It's London, I managed...
It's London, the nightlife is great.
Yes there was always something social going on. We had a softball day with the whole company and went bowling with my department.
