  • It was a really nice place to work.

  • Really valued - I worked with some brilliant people, felt like a part of the team and made some great friends.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • There were regular meetings regarding company goals, team tasks, and my own progress and development within my role. I was praised and encouraged by my supervisors, who were always ready to offer me help and support.

  • A great balance - I enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and the position really helped in boosting my organisation skills.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given plenty of trust and responsibility to perform well within my role; dealing directly with client HR workers, role applicants. I received praise for using my own initiative and getting involved.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I was able to work within different areas of the business, and overall I learned a lot about work environments and what I would like to achieve within my own work life. It is a great asset to my CV and truly helped me to hone in on my communicative and organisation skills. The nature of the client companies also (social housing organisations) exposed me to all sorts of interesting roles and I'm really glad that I did a placement here.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • If I was unsure of anything within my role, I always received support and guidance. I didn't receive a lot of training but a programme was being created towards the end of my time there.

  • Many placement students have returned to PPS Works.

  • There are lots of lovely young people based in the office.

  • Great - Solihull and Birmingham city centre

  • There were big events for the summer and Christmas period along with group outings regularly.
