  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Very enjoyable, I had a fantastic and supportive team, was given lots of responsibility, opportunities to attend events and had a variety of tasks.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Something I noticed early on, and caught glimpses of during my Interview day, was how friendly everyone is and how equally you are treated.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I had weekly 1 to 1 meetings with my manager a review at the end of the placement. They were always happy to help me out whenever I had questions and the whole team were extremely approachable with both work and personal issues.

  • There was a good balance, I had complete control how my managed my time and organised my tasks.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was definitely given more responsibility than I expected! A real motivator.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Whether it will be my improved communication and team work skills or confidence I've gained here, I will carry a lot of the skills forward and they'll definitely make an impact on my final year at university.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Everyone is friendly and gets along really well. I've never worked in another office so extremely tough to compare but it seems rather unique.

  • Was given a lot of responsibility and felt as though I fit well into the team. I had clear projects and fairly clear objectives

  • I was given lots of training throughout the entire placement.

  • If you want to do something, you'll 100% find someone at work do come along!

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • More expensive than where I go to University (Birmingham)

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Newbury is quiet compared to where I went to uni, but It is close enough to Reading and London for it not to be a big problem.

  • Plenty of activities going on, and more to be organised if you want to!
