  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • Fair for the amount of time spent there.

  • The mini-pupillage was only a few days so it was hard to feel a member of the team.

  • Had a young barrister to shadow which was great.

  • Got to visit court and meet clients.

  • There was a lot of travelling between cases and waiting outside courtrooms but this was a good opportunity to ask questions etc.

  • You had to use your own initiative to get something out of the mini-pupillage.

  • Mostly with the barrister himself so not much scope to meet others.

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • Despite its negatives, it is still a great way to learn more about what a Barrister does and what being at the Bar is like.
