About You
Fair for the amount of time spent there.
The mini-pupillage was only a few days so it was hard to feel a member of the team.
Had a young barrister to shadow which was great.
Helped me choose whether the Bar was right for me.
The Company
Got to visit court and meet clients.
There was a lot of travelling between cases and waiting outside courtrooms but this was a good opportunity to ask questions etc.
You had to use your own initiative to get something out of the mini-pupillage.
Learned a lot about what barristers do on a day-to-day basis.
Lots and lots and lots.
Everything Else
£0 unfortunately.
Mostly with the barrister himself so not much scope to meet others.
There weren't any.
No.
Despite its negatives, it is still a great way to learn more about what a Barrister does and what being at the Bar is like.
