About You
It really gave me a great Insight into what being a Teach First Teacher would be like.
I was made to feel very welcome and encouraged to express my thoughts/feelings.
The other ambassadors were brilliant, really enthusiastic and passionate about their job and getting the Teach First ethos across.
It has made me much more certain that I want to go into teaching.
The Company
Really well structured, there were different types of workshops every day, none too long which meant that everyone was engaged and worked well.
Excellent, made mostly by the brilliant ambassadors that we worked with.
We were all given an early assessment centre which was so helpful.
I have now been accepted onto the Teach First LDP. My experience during Insight really helped cement this decision.
I was unsure beforehand about what Teach First actually did, but once explained properly it is hard to overlook the fact that it is a great cause. The Insight Programme gave me so much information about what it would be like to work for the charity.
It was very helpful as I am now onto their LDP course.
Everything Else
I was reimbursed for everything which was brilliant.
Yes, we met so many ambassadors which was great- it meant that we had a variety of opinions and views.
It was only for a short period of time so there weren't any of these
Yes, all sorts of extracurricular activities that would help make your experience as a teacher fully rounded.
I would definately reccomend it and have already reccomended Teach First to a few friends.
