About You
It confirmed I wanted to be a teacher- very insightful!
Very friendly and I felt like my input was always listened to and taken on board.
Teach First did not let us lose in the classrooms without fully preparing us.
I want to teach no better way then interacting with kids in schools.
The Company
It was the first time the insight had been set up in Manchester. with feedback it will improve.
Met some great people.
They spent a lot of time with us preparing us for the classroom and training for the assessment centre.
It was hard work and made me realise that teaching is not easy. We had some tasks that even teachers dread so it was good to see the bad and the good and weigh them up.
It stressed the values of Teach First even more so.
It ensured I knew the challenges I would be facing when doing the Teach First programme and this made me want to do this as a future career.
Everything Else
I wouldn't have been able to do this insight without being reimbursed so it was very helpful.
It was good to talk to people who had been through the programme.
Great- lots of food, drinks and socialising.
Teach First offers some of the best opportunities for graduates when they leave university. I can't wait to take them on!
Already have recommended it to anybody who is not sure what they want to do or who wants to be a teacher. An opportunity not to be missed.
