The Role
Very long working hours on a salary so no overtime pay.
Work hard and support each other
Had excelent mentor on site and constant guidance by associate director.
Extremely busy trying to hit deadlines, often 12-14 hour days were required.
Within a few months after proving i was capable i was given the same responsability as a normal trade package manager.
Training and experience was amazing and relevant to a career in construction
The Company
Amazing fun, humor had to be used otherwise stress would drive you insane
no particular organisation, i was just treated as a normal Trade Package manager. Thrown in at the deep end was the best way to learn.
Not much monetary investment or training courses however the company moulded me into working thier way with a anything to get the job done attitude.
International Travel
Company Parties/Events
If there is work i have been told they will employ me, no contract due to the economic climate
The Culture
We all lived in hotels when working so we had nights out atleast once a week. Especially when working in dublin. Would often go out for meals paid for by contractors. Became friends with colleagues and went to see one of thier band perform etc.
Very expensive in Dublin
Our hotel in dublin was directly next to a nightclub and not far from town
Not really, went to see one of the colleauges bands
