  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The Graduate recruitment initieated a "DIY" vacation scheme whereby we were asked what we would like to see on the Vacation Scheme. We all had a trainee "buddy" and a supervising partner/associate who we could go to for any help and advice. My buddy was exceptionally helpful and she set some very interesting research tasks for me to do. The firm’s partners and associates were very friendly and approachable as well. I had an opportunity to attend in-house training sessions with the firm’s current trainees. I particularly enjoyed an interactive Mediation workshop. In addition, the Graduate recruitment organised a number of presentations on the firm's practice areas as well as negotiation and presentation skills workshops.
