The Role
A new and enjoyable workplace with the opportunity for travel, meeting new people and learning new skills!
I was made to feel very welcome by all staff and knew who to turn to in the event of a problem.
Guidance and support were exemplary.
I was kept very busy, any times otherwise was probably due to poor timekeeping on my part.
I was tasked with creating the parameters of the report and could choose where and when I visited Parks. Checks were maintained but these were not a hindrance.
The placement greatly enhanced my skills of time keeping and report writing. Being left to my own devices on occassion forced me to develop a strong drive to succeed with my work.
The Company
I was generally working alone so office "banter" was sometimes in short supply.
The placement was well organised and my task was well defined.
The invested a fair amount!

The Culture
I live in York already so costs for transport were minimal (I cycled) and when travelling away I claimed on expenses. Nobody was around in summer so it was cheap!
The Nightlife is normally very, very good but as mentioned before it was the summer holidays and most people had gone home for summer.
