About You
It was very interesting and I learnt a lot about the university which I feel may be useful for the world of work even if I don't go to utilise all the aspect in my chose career. I feel I developed as a person in many values but mostly independence in choosing to do it completely alone without friends/family.
I felt valued to the point that I was an intern so obviously thy knew I wouldn't be staying for longer than a short period. This inevitably changed the value they placed on me but they were very welcoming and supportive and so to that exten yes I did feel valued
I received s much or as little support as I wanted and always felt free to ask questions if I had any. That eing said I rarely asked questions because I didn't like to disrupt them as I knew they were all very busy with their own roles and didn't want to disturb them, but I was shadowing someone so it wasn't an issue really
my skills did develop but that eing said I rarely asked questions because I didn't like to disrupt them as I knew they were all very busy with their own roles and didn't want to disturb them, but I was shadowing someone so it wasn't an issue really. in that respect I sometimes felt I was being spoo fed too much
The Company
The misunderstanding of markers writing "core material" is missing will be addressed, which is due to an older way of marking being carried forward that is deceptive as making us feel there is a secret way of marking - this is being addressed. More positive feedback should and hopefully will be given.
very good everyone was reasonably upbeat and cheerful and throughout the insight i felt valued and welcomed by the firm. there was quite a lot of banter and people seemed to enjoy and respect the roles they had as well as their colleagues and boss. so yes a good atmosphere.
none
it didn't really as I wasn't doing the role of the other members of the firm. but I was shdowing someone so learnt a little bit more about their role. however I felt I did not really experience a fully qualified role at all or get much of an insight because I was treated as an intern very much so for the entire time
not really applicable

Everything Else
I wasn't paid it was voluntary
no.
there was good social activities and we often met up throughout the internship for drinks or to go to the pub. that was not organised by the firm but the people who worked there so networking events it was not but that didn't really matter.
no I didn't which was a shame as I weould have appreciated that. there was good social activities and we often met up throughout the internship for drinks or to go to the pub. that was not organised by the firm but the people who worked there so networking event
yes I would recommend it because I got good advice good experience I felt valued I enjoyed my time and I know it will good on a cv. employers are looking for peopel with more than just degrees now and so in that sense I would recommend any internship. it has to be something you think you'll enjoy though
