  • I thourally enjoyed my time at EDF Energy

  • I made many friends whilst on placement, people were always happy to help.

  • Some of my supervisors were really good, pointing out development opportunity's and offering me support.

  • The amount of work I had to do was dependent on my own productivity and interest in learning.

  • I was given the responsibility of a safety significant project.

  • This placement gave me a wide understanding of practical engineering applications.

  • One of my offices was social and friendly, the other was more serious and production based.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • There are a lot of placements/graduates on site, events were planned regularly.

  • Standard pricing.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • I Travelled 35 min (22 miles) to work every day. the area I live din was closer to a large town so there was lots of night-life.

  • EDF Energy encourages all of its employees to get involved in the STEM Network and local organisations.
