The Role
Mostly very interesting.
Friendly staff, given work to do that felt important.
I was occasionally at a loose end, but for most of the placement knew what to do next.
Some periods where I was stuck, but mostly OK.
The work was software development, so there wasn't too much to break, so to speak, but I was given as much responsibility as there could be.
Incredibly useful skills, programming and debugging, that were much more interesting compared to my degree studies.
The Company
Pleasant, often quiet with people working.
Everything worked out fine, I was told when and where to turn up.
I very much felt I was given a lot of peoples' time.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Financial Bonus
I look forward to working there when I graduate.
The Culture
Not really applicable, I was doing different work to the other placement students so did not see them much.
I commuted from home, so not really sure.
Again not really applicable.
I was not there long enough to find out.
