    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • For the most part the job was enjoyable. There were times when there wasn't much work and this is the main disadvantage of working there, projects can be every all go at one point and then there can be little to do with a project for awhile. When there is work given to you, you do have responsibility and you are working on something any of the other employees would work on.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • At times you feel really valued, especially when people are asking for your help or advice. At the start or when working on projects you don't know much about, you do obviously feel less valued but sometimes a bit of a hindrance too.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Pretty much everyone is helpful there, you do have to know who to ask though.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Sometimes very busy, sometimes a bit, and there were a few weeks where browsing the internet or finding something to do became your main task.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • They treat you like anyone else. Fully responsible for what you do.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Helped me have a better understanding of my field in general, as well as give me some good practice and skills to use in my degree and beyond.

    4/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • 4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Sometimes they didn't know what to do with me, sometimes they did.

    3/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Not much.

    2/5

    Company Parties/Events
