  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Slow paced work at times incredibly frustrating, but at other times interesting. More benefit for 'soft skills' picked up than actual knowledge gained.

  • Treated as a full member of the team. However, Summer Interns are generally ignored or bounced around other parts of the organisation when looking for help/info.

  • Good exposure to senior management within RR including Commercial Director, Civil Aerospace. Guidance from team good.

  • Extermely variable.

  • Good level of responsbility given on projects worth large amounts of money.

  • Slow.

  • Poor, little in the way of structured training sessions.

  • Company's investment in training low if not an engineer. No formalised structure for training for Commercial interns.
