    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • A great experience and welcomes you to the real world. Employees are great fun and everyone is up for a real life. It's tough hours but really helps you prepare for the world of work with alright pay as well!

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • WOW! Couldn't have asked to work with nicer people. As soon as I walked in for my interview I was greeted with smiles. I have got to know them so well over the summer and although I'm excited to go back to uni, I am actually pretty gutted to leave everyone.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • The management were so approachable and easy going so it was easy to go up and ask for help. They all supported me and gave me some great advice and I believe thanks to them that I have grown more as a person.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Sometimes we were so busy we were literally running around and at times it got very stressful and sometimes it was dead and we were quite bored. But I think thats what you get with any business. We worked as a team during busy periods to get the job done and had a joke around when no one was there.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I think you need to make yourself stand out and heard in this place in order to get more and more responsibility. This job involves thinking on your feet and doing what you think. I thought that sounded scary at first but I actually really enjoyed having lots of responsibility. Employees go to airport terminal on there own answering phones, doing admin, chasing ARs and obviously serving customers. It is essenitially running your own little business.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Definitely have gained skills for life. I have learned so much and will cherish this summer internship. I strongly believe it will set me above the rest. The job does get a little repetitive so you need to make sure you volunteer and just do work off your own back in order to get the most of it otherwise you are just checking people into cars and you don't see the otherside of the business.

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Great, it was so much fun all the time. The employees definitely make a average job brilliant!

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • They have a lot of interns and new employees there and everyione is always coming and going. I mean you have to make yourself stand out a bit in order not just to be another new person but if you do everyone helps and supports you.

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Lots of training days and event days were organised during my 4 months there in order to promote Enterprise and train us to be better employees. However, perhaps it could have been a little more organised.

    4/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Financial Bonus

    Company Parties/Events

    3/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • There are lots of good employment prospects with them and there are always people around to aspire to. It does involve lots of hardwork and many years of tough hours but I guess when you get to the top it's worth it. There are always goals for employees even the managers to become higher managers.

    4/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Lots of young people woking there and all up for going out and having a great time!

    4/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Expensive but worth it for the experience.

    3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Near London so pretty good but expensive.

    3/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Yeah there were competitions and things to win days out.

    3/5
