    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I have generally really enjoyed my time here at We Brand It.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Personally I have felt valued by my colleagues

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • My supervisor was always there for guidance, but due to the small office environment everyone is very approachable and are willing to give their support and guidance if you need it.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Personally I have been very busy on a day to day basis, both with aiding my BDM with their sales and with my own sales, as well as managing all our combined orders, but i can't complain as being busy has made this placement fly by and for me all the more enjoyable.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Personally I have been given a lot of responsibility in my placement and have personally ended up with a range of clients who I have personally looked after and dealt with for my whole placement. I do think however this varies depending on how hard you work and how well you get on with your BDM as to how much free reign you are given and also how your BDM and you work as different teams work in different ways.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • This placement hasn't directly linked with my degree, but my degree isn't specialised in one particular area. But overall it has definitely increased my confidence, time management skills and communication and even my negotiation skills to an extent as you are constantly talking to various people who are both customers and suppliers.

    4/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The general atmosphere in the office is good, and everyone gets to know each other reasonably well

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Each placement student works alongside a BDM and 9 times out of 10 they match the sales coordinators with the BDM's perfectly personality wise. so in that sense the placement is quite organsised and your role in the company is set out from the beginning.

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • there was a two week training session at the start of the placement so we were up to speed with the system before we started and we were provided with basic product knowledge but most of this is learned through on the job experience.

    3/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Sports and Social Club

    Company Parties/Events

    4/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • If I was looking to go into a Sales role, I would consider the organisation a good place to start.

    4/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Due to the large number of placement students, the social scene is very good with things going on every weekend and in the evenings

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • The cost of living is more expensive than at university, but no more expensive as where I live at home. As long as you are good with your money, there is enough money for you to go out on weekends and enjoy yourself.

    3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Maidenhead is situated between Windsor and Reading which are normally our preferred destinations of choice as these offer the better venues to go out in on weekends. maidenhead all has various Bars and clubs however these nights are more what you make of them yourselves as a group rather than the place itself.

    4/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • The company organises 5-a-side football on a weekly basis to which most male employees attend.
