  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The work was ideal as it was challenging and pushed you to learn more but was always solvable.

  • The atmosphere at NI is great. It doesn't matter who you speak to in what department they will always have time to discuss things.

  • With two full months of complete training. We were well prepared for work at NI

  • Some days are busier than others but overall pretty good.

  • As an Intern we were encouraged to take responsibility for things as often as possible.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • During the AE project work, my knowledge of software development and RF engineering improved immensly.

  • Pretty Relaxed

  • Everything was well organised and we were never left with nothing to do.

  • We were put through most of the CustED courses that NI offers as well as prestation skills training

  • Subsidised/Company Gym

  • Jobs with NI alliance partners are available to me

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • living away from work made socialising with others was hard

  • standard price for the area but not cheap

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Newbury does not have much nightlife. Reading is the place to go

  • If you look for them. I joined a local Rugby team
