    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Was difficult at times but everyone was really helpful and supportive.

  • I felt like I was doing an important job and producing useful work

  • My line manager was quite high up in the organisation so much of the support and guidance came from my colleges.

  • There was always work to do but I didn't feel overworked at all.

  • As much responsibility as other employees, in safety critical applications responsibility is shared with several people checking work.

  • Very useful for degree studies and really tied it all together.

  • Everybody very polite and helpful, great culture

  • Really good attitude among employees, good investment in training and international travel in right departments

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Most interns were together and social scene good, same for graduates.

  • Living cost about the same as at Uni.

  • Good in center of town where we lived, not good near site.

  • Kind of like Uni with company encouraged activities
