    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • There is only so much you can do in one week, but the time we spent at the firm was incredibly enjoyable.

  • From trainees to partners, everyone was friendly.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Support was great and we weren't spoon fed which meant we actually learnt something.

  • We had a personal project to complete and present to the firm on the last day. If we weren't doing office work we were working on our own project.

  • Only one week - I would expect to be given too much responsibility.

  • Presentation skills.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Time of the football world cup so everyone was in a cheerful mood.

  • Extremely well organised, we always had something to do.

  • They took time to see us and vice versa. It felt like we were one step closer to getting a training contract.

  • If asked back for a training contract interview I will be extremely happy.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • We lunched together every day and had leaving drinks on the final evening.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Much cheaper than London.

  • I live there and it has always been good.

  • There was girls netball, but in a week there's only so much you can put on offer.
