  • Everybody I encountered made a special effort to get to know me. I was invited to lunch almost everyday by those I worked with, and I even organised a lunch myself in the second week.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Some of the work I was presented with was to assess how I would deal in that situation, but if I ever needed guidance my training buddy and supervisor were always happy to help.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I was more busy than I was not, but I think that was a result of choosing to partake in a wide variety of activities whilst I was at the firm.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given plenty of responsibility. I was asked to prepare forms and draft letters which were the ones ultimately sent off.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • London is guaranteed to be more expensive than other UK cities, but I would say it's worth it. London is a great city.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • 5/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • I was involved in activities outside of work almost every night. The firm organised for us to go for a curry, to go bowling, and enjoy a three course lunch with some of the Partners in the final week.
