    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Everything was fantastic. The placement ran smoothly, and I was constantly busy with interesting work to do. The socials the firm put on were enjoyable, and everyone at the firm was friendly and helpful.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I felt as though I was treated as a trainee in their first seat rather than someone who was only at the firm for a few week. The work I was given was the same work which the trainees do, and I got a real experience of what life would be like as a trainee at the firm.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • My supervior and trainee buddy were always willing to help or explain any problemsl, and always ensured that I knew what I was doing and that I was busy.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I always had something to do, but never felt like I had too much to complete in the time allowed.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • The solicitors gave me a lot of responsibility, and allowed me to complete important pieces of work which were then checked over the someone more senior.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The skills I have developed will help me when I find a training contract, and have given me a better understanding of the commercial side of the law.

    5/5

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Very friendly, and very enjoyable. Everyone was helpful and always talkative.

  • The placement ran perfectly. There was never any problems, and we were always kept up to date by Graduate Recruitment.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The firm put on a number of presentations including one from each department, and one by the Corporate Responsibility team.

  • Manchester nightlife.

    5/5
