    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I really enjoyed my time at Pinsent Masons. It was very well organised.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I felt extremely well valued by my trainee buddy, and other solicitors in the team. I did not have that much contact with the partners in my team.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • The guidance given was enough for you to attempt the task, yet little enough to give me a challenge.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • There were times during my placement where I didn't have a lot to do, and other times when I had to work through my lunch to complete the task. Yet, I was sat in Corporate so I think that is to be expected.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given a substantial amount of responsibility. Only one task I was given was a training task.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I am now more commercially aware, and I feel that I could tackle unfamilar tasks much more confidently.
