The Role
A brilliant company in which to develop your University degree
All permanent staff are very friendly, they favour having Undergraduates as our wages are covered by training and not by them; therefore all work is essentially free to them
All supervisors I had regularly helped and guided me in the tasks I was given. The more help I received, the less I would have to ask for it.
Depending on the task you can always have something to do, or other tasks may require a little more change in direction.
The work Undergraduates do is absorbed by the department and decisions are made based on the work I did.
My engineering knowledge has greatly increased and I firmly expect my marks at University to increase.
The Company
A very friendly atmosphere.
Regular reviews are held with the training manager to make sure you are satisified with the placement.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
The Culture
There are official groups to organise frequent socials, incl. paintball, go-karting, BBQs, curry nights, out on the town etc.
Not a great deal of clubs in Yeovil but it won't matter if you're with a good bunch of people.
There are many opportunities to get involved in various out-of-work activities.
