The Role
I never went to a department that i didn't enjoy.
Everyone is really easy to talk to and are more than happy to go thorough things as often as you need.
My supervisors were really good at giving me the right amount of work so that i was never bored but never stressed or overworked.
The Company
I always had work and there was no shortage if a ran out, although they never rushed me to finish work.
There is always plenty of support from your colleagues and the training department. There are also opportunities to attend training courses, i went on a two week Catia course and gained a INCAT certificate of achievement.

After graduation you can come back to AW on the Postgraduate Training Program that will train you manage a department over a couple of years.
The Culture
AW have two societies called AWASA and AWADP that arrange events so there is never a quiet week. They have organised events including ice skating, paint balling, meals, BBQs, poker nights, etc... all often ending town :)
Yeovil have some awesome houses you can rent and they are usually much cheaper than you would expect. Pubs and restaurant prices are normal, just depends where you go.
Yeovil isn't a city, but there are still plenty of pubs and a few bars/clubs.
