  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Everyone I encountered, from support staff to Partner level, were welcoming, friendly and approachable.

  • My colleagues really made me feel like a useful member of the team.

  • Guidance was given freely when needed, and the team were adept at explaining things to me no matter how complex or mundane.

  • I was given the correct amount of work to do in the timescales provided.

  • I felt that the degree of work was suitable given my experience and skills.

  • The office was open-plan and the general atmosphere was enjoyable.

  • Some aspects were not organised as well as others but overall it was good.

  • We were given detailed information about the firm and had good training in the key area of our role.

  • The social scene was brilliant.

  • Edinburgh is an expensive city but there are cheap options.

  • The nightlife was good with plenty of options to hand.

  • We had at least 2 social event per week, all well organised by the Trainees.
