The Role
It was a really good job, with a lot of experience for the future, a lot of responsibility put on me and some cool people.
They treated me as a normal co-worker from day one, and definitely respected the work, that I was doing.
Well, support could have probably been a bit better, but I would say, it was alright for that size of company and overall I enjoyed it more that way, since there was more responsibility put on me.
I could arrange work myself most of the time and never was really stressed, though I certainly had enough work to do. Only a few times I had to wait on other people, which slowed work down a bit.
That was probably the highlight of the job (though also with a few drawbacks), I was given full responsibility, control and flexibility, which obviously has also a few drawbacks, seeing that I felt a little bit lost at times, but overall it was great.
Time will tell how useful the skills will be for future studies, but the skill I learned here are really valuable for this business area and future employment.
The Company
People were cool and relaxed, music was played most of the time, we got a free cake when it was someones birthday, so all in all pretty good.
Some people would probably rate this a bit lower. In the first few days, the people here were a bit unprepared for us and we didn't had much to do, but that changed relatively quickly and as I said, I instantly got treated as a normal co-worker with all benefits and drawbacks that brings (well, apart from the same pay)
There was a short training at the beginning, but afterwards not much. When I needed things, they considered it how they would consider it for a normal employee in that office.
Company Parties/Events
Could probably get a job, but want to develop into different areas in the future
The Culture
There was one other student/internship and a few apprentices. There wasn't really anything specific done, so we would get to know each other, but I sat next to the other intern and we got really close over time.
Well, I stayed in student accommodation over summer, so nothing changed here and London is London, so obviously not cheap, but that is to be expected.
I would say, depending on the taste, there something for everyone, a lot of pubs, clubs and restaurants.
There wasn't really anything, just a few events here and there.
