Overview
We received a combination of technical training, insight into the Bank and also networking experience. Each day we met new people from different areas of the bank and learnt about their specific division.
Skills
I have developed a strong skill set regarding company valuation. We learnt how to use both intrinsic and extrinsic methods and how to use results in M&A.
Business Insight
I gained a detailed insight into how the roles differ across the global banking division.
Culture
As an intern I felt as if I was welcomed into the working environment well. The culture was positive and all the staff were very friendly.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed this insight for two important reasons. Firstly, I met a group of incredible people who worked at BNPP and I also made great friends within our intern group. Secondly, I feel that this week put me in an advantageous position in terms of moving towards the banking industry. I developed a lot of relevant skills, particularly how to successfully network.

It is important to research the difference between global banking and global markets before you apply so that you can be certain you are in the right division.
