Overview
The clerkship involved attending sessions and socials organised by the firm, as well as work on a Project throughout the clerkship. We also receive tasks from our principals. .
Skills
Yes, I developed existing skills of formal and informal written communication, presentation, and drafting.
Business Insight
It was an enriching opportunity as we could approach multiple people in our team and those outside, as well as receive training sessions about the different practice areas of the firm.
Culture
It is a very healthy working environment, which includes multiple social events and flexibility of working hours and mode of working (remote or in-person). There are multiple adjustments which are made for people from all diverse backgrounds.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed it till a great extent, as I felt very valued and recognised at my team, and at the firm in general. Further, different modes of sessions and different formats of induction was wonderful to see.
Yes
Do try to be your genuine self! And try to understand commercial and legal issues which can arise in a transaction, as the firm looks for commercial awareness.
