Overview
It was a mix of working from home and from the office. Worked on different projects, editing excel spreadsheets, autocad files and helped writing reports. Spoke to people throughout the company at different levels.
Skills
Through the training provided, I learnt a lot about a subject I previously had no experience in. I was able to work in various sectors. Communication and other soft skills improved significantly.
Responsibilities
Responsibility varied depending on the project. Given work to complete on your own but support is always provided at every stage
Support & Guidance
Everyone within the team was very helpful and willing to explain anything I didn't understand. All questions were answered in detail.
Culture
Great company culture. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly, making easy to settle in.
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed my internship at Arcadis. I learnt a considerable amount about civil engineering, helping me become more sure in want I want to do in the future. Would definitely consider coming back next year.
